Yeah, I went to the ROCK ON SINGAPORE concert, yeah it was cool, but everyone I asked couldn't make it suddenly.
They started around 6.20, with The Observatory, a very soft band, something anisible would like. But the music was very artistic, and the lyrics kinda made me think there's this copied-from-Hyde conspiracy, hahaha.. I mean, borderline Hyde-like. I personally did not like them, too soft for me, but the drummer was cool, keyboardist was great too.
Then there was Throb, SHIOK MAN, more like acid jazz. Dharma rocks sia. The drummer also DAMN SOLID SIA!! Perfect sia. All hail Ray Aziz!!! WOO!
Following that was Ugly in the Morning.
Gosh, this band practically takes the local scene to a totally different level. Eric power sia, guitarists Noel and David
also power sia, clement very nerdy though and cause the guitarists and vocalist damn power, drums I never notice sia.
In UitM's case, both guitars are leads and put them together and you get POWER SOLO sia.
Pardon the "sia"s cause everytime I go Celviano, Afdlin say Sia, Is say Sia, Rafi say Sia, now ShaQ also say Sia, I don't start saying Sia is like impossible SIA. HAHAHAHAH.
Then finally saw LGF, oh man, Chun didn't have his fat ass red flying V which makes him look very small, but some other guitar. Kin Ho should have taken off his shirt when playing Spice of Life, then he'd look more like Taira. Yeah, they opened with Spice of Life from the anime BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. CHUN IS TOO COOL MAN, and he's so light he jumps very high. Dammit, my camera didn't manage to get him jumping.. Gah..
Emi has improved lah, very much better than before YEAH! And Choon still has his mushroom hair cut. :D, Eisan still the same.. Mel looks different. Anyways, they were really nice to watch, but my memory stick was full and my mother is sick, so I decided to go back early.
Keh, I wanted to watch Ronin man, but they'd probably come out about 9.45pm.. Late man, forget it lah, watch them some other time. You know what, Ronin would really look like a J rock band if their Lead guitar & drummer had sharper chins. HAHAHA.
I got Throb & Electrico's albums, and like, electrico, I probably wouldn't have sat through.. But their music is written nicely, I wonder why they were really popular.. Maybe people like their looks or something. I like "much more inside" hahah.. nice.
I missed Electrico, Ronin, Fireflys, Tiet & B Quartet.
Haha, but overall it was good sia. I also took a picture of the sound system guy and he had this "what the fuck" look after that.. HAHAHAHAH.
Today, sia, sold ONE beringher set. But a lot of people wanted courses, not the guitars yet. Sia, I play so nice people rather take lessons man.. HAHAHAH. Man, I should get like commission for that too. John said he'd pay more if i teach, ok lah, just give me the students sia.
Today played a lot of crap. A lot of niao ppl too :D, ahah, there was this obnoxious guy bragging about his sons aged 11 and 13 having diploma in piano, do we care? No. #_-. Anyways, people like that are everywhere, too bad lah..
