Geography proj today!
damn fun!
Met Bea and Jackey in sch at 10 cos soccer cancelled.
Jackey made us walk through the drain from outside the main gate cos he didn't know the gate to the field was open... lol. then we walked to commonwealth, and this weird guy walked past Jackey and glared at him saying "i want to kill you" in mandarin. DAMN scary sial.
We started at Tanjong Pagar and did frontage survey. SO MANY FOOD PLACES. btw, we ate a lot. Without beatrice and her maps we'd be super lost. haha. Went to Republic Plaza and the nice security guard didn't mind us copying the list of companies in the building, GEOG PROJ. Clifford Centre was a different story cos the lady at the reception counter was not in a good mood.
Anyways, we ate at Delifrance in Cliffored Centre and we all ate POTATOES for lunch. haha, there was no other food! Sad life man Delifrance. ahhah. Then we went to UOB Plaza, and i was like.. oh to jamming we go again. ahah, but this time the UOB building was kinda closed #_-, and we had to take a pic of the office directory which i just realised has the second coulmn's floor levels cut off.
THEN WE ATE AGAIN. at macs. hahha.
After all that we went to do the land use survey and it was really funny cos Jackey and Bea were like no the carpark's 8 storeys - 9 storeys! or the bank is 11 floors! 6 floors lah, how can 11 be shorter than 8 !! hahaha. Damn funny.
Walked past all my mom's offices the whole day actually, but when we got to Far East Square Jackey took out his ACS Intl card and went to reception to ask for the number of floors. "I'M FROM ACS INTL!" *ding* (card shines) ahha.
And in 5 minutes the rain started again... argh! hahah my writing was getting smugded :( but we saw some cool stuff being sold by street side vendors.
Then there's this sudden decline in the height and condition of the buildings. POOF! Both sides shrink. wakaka. walked on to the shopping centre in chinatown that is part of Hong Leong finance i think. they were having some "Sing like Teresa Teng" Competition.
Whee! End of Land use survey! Then bea and I dragged Jackey around to go shopping with us. that was at 2.30! We accomplished so much, how FOCUSED we are! There's this really cool and super super CHEAP art shop called Golden Dragon when u cross from the blue building via the over head bridge. The stuff there is so cool! I feel cheated by Art Friend. Actually Golden Dragon has more of the design/ fabrics / bead / threads / kinda stuff. Art Friend's stil the place to go for basic art needs and all (
watercolour!).
Walked to the old old OG building and bought a $10 (sale) wallet which cost $49?, Green T $16.90 (UP $33.50) and erm a bag from somewhere else before OG. Bea bought a really cute pair of sunglasses, damn nice. I wanted a pair but then again, i keep breaking mine and i don't need them anyways. I'LL THINK ABOUT IT MOM, or u could just buy me a pair from Japan =).
Just before bea had to leave for dance, we went to macs again! haha. Jackey was like asking Bea where the macs was and said loudly "WHERE IS THE MACS?!" and like i think a few ppl pointed and this lady was kind enough to tell us where.. ahhahah! it was purely unintentional but it was really hilarious.
After macs we went off.. Jackey took mrt with me.
It's pretty annoying that I stay quite far from everywhere but oh well! ahhaa. The joys of spending time looking at queer people on the train. hahah. Had a lot of fun today! =))
Shall go to Chinatown more often.
